GASS, BARBARA ANN SCOTT
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Gass of Fredericton, NB on Monday, November 30th, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was born on January 1st, 1947 to the late Elwood and Frances (Desormeaux) Gass.
Barbie graduated from McAdam High School and then went on to pursue a nursing career at Saint John Regional Hospital. She excelled at nursing and was even granted an award that recognized her for her commitment and dedication to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the hospital. She loved to travel on cruise ships and to get a game of golf in whenever she could and was a member of the Gilridge Golf Club for years.
She will be missed by her sister, Margie Gass of Fredericton, NB; her aunt, Vercelia Gass of McAdam, NB; her numerous cousins, extended family and many friends.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Rockland Cemetery.
For those who wish, memorial tributes in Barbie’s honour may be made to the Rockland Cemetery.
