PHILLIPS, CAROL
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann Phillips of Carters Point, which occurred on December 1st 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born December 3rd, 1951 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Charles and Corrinne (Molly) Jones.
She will be sadly missed by her husband David Phillips, her sons David (Stacey) Phillips and Wayne (Shelley) Phillips; her daughter Krystal Phillips (Jeff); brothers Brian Jones, Steven (Nancy) Jones , Johnny Jones, Raymond Leaman; sisters Beverly Robson and Barbie Golding; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson Avery Gallant, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Linda LeBlanc.
Carol cherished all of her family and took great pride in being the Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary Branch #62. She will be remembered as the best mother, wife, grandmother and friend who loved line dancing, Tops, quilting or just playing 45’s with her family.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Tribute service Thursday evening at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in Harding’s Point Cemetery followed by a reception at the James Williams Community Hall in Carter’s Point.
