It pains me to announce the passing of my dear husband, Lewis James Haslam, on November 21, 2015 at Sechelt Hospital.
Jim was born in Duncan, BC on March 8, 1928. He worked at a young age sawmilling and logging. In his twenties, he became a welder and was an Operating Engineers Union member for 60 years.
Jim was a sports fisherman and gardener and built many fine things with wood.
Left to mourn him is his wife Lizzi, sons Marc, Ben, Hans and Niels, daughters Maria and Kirsten, 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Thank you to the staff at Ambulatory and Emergency at Sechelt Hospital for the kindness shown to us, and especially to Dr. J. Jaschinski.
Memorial service to be held on Saturday, December 12, at 3pm at Devlin Funeral Home.
