Passed peacefully away at St. John's Long Term Care Facility on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, Violetta Soper, in her 100th year. Predeceased by her husband Thomas Soper in 1995. Leaving to mourn, the staff and her friends at the Waterford Hospital as well as the staff and her friends at the St. John's Long Term Care Facility, 4 SW. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 4, at the St. John's Long Term Care Facility Chapel, West Building, from 10-11:30 am. Funeral service will be held at the St. John's Long Term Care Facility Chapel, West Building, on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11:30 am, with cremation to follow. Burial will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Violetta's memory to the Waterford Hospital or a charity of one's choice.
