Passed peacefully away in the early morning hours of December 1st, 2015 at the St. John's Long Term Care Facility (LTC), Susie Margaret Dawe, age 91 years. Predeceased by her husband, William R. Dawe Jr.; darling infant granddaughter, Jennifer; precious grandson, Mark; father and mother, Samuel and Fanny Greenland; brothers and sisters: Ned Greenland (Minnie), Tena Boone (Bob), Emma Gilbert (Newman), Harry Greenland (Lillian), Bill Greenland, Catherine Greenland, Alice Greenland, and Mary Greenland; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Leslie and Meta Dawe, Emmie and Philip Embury, Eddie Derraugh, Cecil Dawe, Harry and Jean Dawe, Ronald and Betty Dawe, and Gilbert Dawe. Left to mourn her passing and to celebrate her long life and independent spirit, her loving and devoted daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Everett Fancey; loving granddaughter, Renée Fancey, whom she adored; youngest brother, Ralph Greenland (Evelyn), Coley's Point; sisters-in-law: Ethel Derraugh, Huguette Dawe, and Marina MacDonald (Les); many nieces and nephews especially, Mavis Benz (Lee); and Rosalie Fancey, R.N. (Kevin) who gave her such wonderful care. Special thanks to the doctors and nursing staff of LTC 4SE for their care and compassion, and to her family doctor, Dr. Santhi Murthy, for her many home visits and care over the years. Cremation has taken place. Service from Carnell's Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Saturday, December 5th at 10 am, with interment to follow at Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
