Passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 1st, 2015 at St Luke's Homes, Marion Elizabeth (Carter) Conroy, age 90 years. Predeceased by husband Hugh O'Neill Conroy (2010), her parents Austen Carter and Caroline (McKay) Carter and her siblings Louise, Jean, Bill and Bob. Leaving to mourn her sons: Jim (Joan) and Peter (Audrey); grandchildren: Emily (Jarred), Megan (Wayne), Caelie and Tara; great-grandson Zachary. Also Mary Conroy who maintained a close relationship with Marion and visited her regularly at St Luke's. Her brother Austin (Sybil) and their family in Halifax, NS. The family would like to thank Dr. Julian Vaughan-Jackson, Debbie Manuel and all the staff of Pleasant View Terrace and Trinity Square units at St Luke's for their loving and compassionate care of Marion, you made mom feel safe, comfortable and loved. Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving visitors at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th. A funeral service will be held at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, December 7th, 2015 at 11 a.m. with inurnment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery.
