Susan Hoare
Hoare, Susan Lorraine, 55 of Water Street, Stellarton passed away December 3, 2015 at home.
Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Dunn) Penney.
She was a resident of Stellarton for most of her life where she was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. During her working years she was employed as a PCW at the Glen Haven Manor in New Glasgow and the Valley View Villa in Riverton up until 2010. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, crocheting and baking, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Bernie, Stellarton; a daughter Margaret (Adam) MacBeth, Stellarton; grandchildren Alex and Mia; brothers Jason (Bernadette) Penney, Trenton; Alex (Jennifer) Penney, Stellarton; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Boo Hoare.
Cremation to take place.
The family will receive visitors from 10-10:45 am Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton from where a memorial mass will be held 11am with Father Angus MacDougall presiding.
Burial of ashes will take place in the parish cemetery.
Donations in memory of Susan may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
