Passed peacefully away at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, St. John's, NL, on Monday, December 7th, 2015, Gerald John Lannon of St. John's, NL, in his 70th year. Leaving to mourn his daughter Krista Hewitt (Emmett), St. John's, grandchildren Morgan and Evan, mother Catherine, St. John's, special friend Ann Marie Turpin, St. Lawrence, sister Ann Marie Barter (Roy), Creston South, sister-in-law Lorna Lannon, nieces Paula Power (Jim), Grande Prairie, AB, Jennifer Blagdon (Paul), Beaumont, AB, Stephanie Lannon, Halifax, NS, Laurenda Lannon, Halifax, NS, Morgan Blagdon, nephews Michael Lannon, Ethan Power, Cole Blagdon, uncle Allan Lannon, St. John's, members of the Edwards, Barter, Turpin, and Stacey families; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Gerald is predeceased by his parents James and Gladys Lannon and his brother Harry. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, St. John's, on Dec. 9, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, and then resting at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, St. Lawrence on a date and time to be announced. The funeral service will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, St. Lawrence, on a date and time to be announced. Inurnment will be at the Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in St. Lawrence. At Gerald's request, Cremation has taken place. Donations in Gerald's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
