CROCKETT, Ella Marie – 78, Truro, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday morning, December 8, 2015, at Shannex, Vimy Court, Bible Hill. Born in Benvie Mountain, she was a daughter of the late H. Elwood MacNutt and Melissa Janie (nee. Whidden) (MacNutt) Whynott. Ella is survived by her daughters, Peggy Veinott (Mike), Greenfield; Dawna Crockett Richard (Russ), Truro; Karen Crockett-White (Jody), Moncton, New Brunswick; Charlene Crockett-Vallis (Dwayne), Halifax; Brenda Crockett-Burns (Stanley), Airdrie, Alberta; grandchildren, PJ, Shane, Levi, Chuck, Luc, Zoe; great grandchildren, Alex, Jada, Rayna, Keegan, Winter, Thor, Jasper; sisters, Ethel, Phyllis, Bonita, Isabelle, Hattie; brothers, George, Ivan. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Stanley (June 1991); sisters, Ida, Eileen; brothers, Charlie, Elwood, Donnie, Robert. Special thanks are extended to the staff and residents of Shannex, Vimy Court, Bible Hill. All are welcome to come and celebrate and remember Ella at a gathering at the former family home, 19 Henry Street, from 2-5 p.m., Saturday, December 12, 2015.
