It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert (Bob) Preston Sr. announce his passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre on Monday, December 7th, 2015 at the age of 85 years. He will be sadly missed and deeply mourned by his wife Dorothy, his three sons; Bill (Velma) in Midland ON, Bob in Toronto and Rick (Bev) in Sherwood, Beverley Preston in Calgary, his four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also left with fond memories are his Brother Gerald (Vera) in Corner Brook, his two sisters; Mae Pennell and Gladys (Jim) Fitzgerald both in Corner Brook, his sister-in-law Violet Preston in Corner Brook along with a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 11th, 2015 at 2 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel on the Hansen Highway with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway. Friends may call at Russell's Funeral Home 57 Prince Rupert Drive on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Salvation Army Church in Stephenville.
