Tanya Dawn Lloyd March 28 1971-Dec 7 2015
Age 44 of Cambridge, passed away suddenly after a very brief illness with brain cancer. She is the daughter of Peggy Blackmore (Reeves) and the late Vernon Lloyd. She will be remembered with love by her sisters Stacey Lloyd and Beth Hiltz (Lloyd), grandmother, Reta Lloyd, son Justin Anderson and partner John Bent. Tanya will be remembered for her gentle soul, caring and compassionate nature and a ‘tell it like it is’ spunky personality. Her courageousness and ambitious entrepreneurial style lead her into many career opportunities where she had the privilege of meeting many new faces. Her most current endeavor was with Deal N Deal Liquidators where she was a “stand out” employee and became part of the Deal family. Tanya also made many friends along the way through her work with the Auto Trader in past years. She studied interior design and could be found giving decorating advice during her time with Cleveland’s, Brads Décor or Phil’s Home Furnishings. In her earlier years she exercised her strong entrepreneurial style by opening her own business, a children’s consignment store call ‘Little Treasures’ in Berwick. As a partner with her mother she also owned and hand crafted ‘Canaan Mountain Soaps’. Tanya had many interests and hobbies and was always able to see the beauty in anything. Her most current hobby, which brought her an abundance of joy was her heritage bird collection. She hatched and raised each one, giving them names and knowing each by their special characteristics. She had a green thumb for gardening and an eye for making everything beautiful. She took pride and invested much physical work into flipping out of date houses into modern, tasteful homes. She enjoyed photography, art, drawing and many other crafty hobbies. She wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty in the process and was no stranger to taking on a job that was too big and still make it work. Her optimistic, hardworking, helpful and courageous spirit was one of a kind. Her heart of gold could be felt by everyone around her. Her sincere and genuine style was admirable. She loved life no matter how difficult the obstacles she faced. She would want us all to continue living by that same spirit. An open house will be hosted for all Sunday, Dec 13 2-4pm at 994 Cambridge Rd. A family celebration of life will be planned for the spring of 2016.
