Starratt, Hazel Lillian, Truro passed away December 8, 2015 at Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Truro, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Lillian MacCallum. She was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church, Truro. She was employed for many years with the Federal Government at the Canada Manpower Center in Truro and had been retired for over 30 years. She is survived by her son, Gregory Starratt (Karen), Halifax; grandchildren “her pride and joy”, Geoffrey Starratt, Edmonton and Nicola Starratt, Halifax; sister, Bessie Chapman, Truro; brother, George MacCallum (Rosemarie), Grafton, Massachussetts; sister-in-law, Betty Starratt, Truro; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, R. Arnold Starratt in 2004. By her request, a graveside service will be held in Hilden Cemetery at a later date.
