Daryn MacDonald

MacDonald, Daryn Rodney
1968-2015
Daryn MacDonald of Riverview passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 9th, 2015 after a tragic motor vehicle accident. He was the son of Marilyn (Beers) MacDonald and the late Rodney MacDonald.

Daryn had a true zest for life and will always be remembered for his love for hockey and his incredible hockey skills. He was an important member of the former Moncton Plumbing Hawks, and the Amherst Ramblers. His larger than life smile and contagious laugh will forever be in the hearts of many. He was a captivating story teller that could catch the ear of a friend to an absolute stranger. He loved spending time in the outdoors and always found time to drop the line in search of a few bites in the river. But what he cherished most was time spent with his two children, they truly were his heart and lights in his life.

Daryn was a graduate of Riverview High, where played Hockey, Football, and Baseball. He furthered his education at NBCC Moncton where he obtained his license as a Welder and Steel fabrication worker. He was employed with Hub Meat Packers for over 20 years, doing many jobs and finishing his career there as a skilled Welder. He was currently employed by Molson.
He is survived by his daughter Madelyn Mae MacDonald; son Tanner Donald MacDonald; the mother of his children Sandy (Sheridan) MacDonald; his Mother, Marilyn (Beers) MacDonald; brother David MacDonald (Jessica); niece and nephew Kendra and Coleman; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins including his close cousin/brother, John MacDonald.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (869-2007) on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00pm. A service celebrating Daryn’s life will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Monday, December 14th, 2015 at 1:00pm with Rev. Cecil Symes officiating. Donations made to his children's trust fund would be greatly appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca
