The largely attended funeral of Margaret Rose MacLeod was held on Nov 4, 2015 at our Lady of Fatima Church in Sydney River.
We the family of the late Margaret Rose MacLeod wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to the EHS personnel, ambulance drivers, and nurses at the Cape Breton Regional and the medical professionals at the Q.E. II in Halifax for the kindness and care shown to Margaret Rose MacLeod. During the times of unexpected developments and required personal decisions and action, the staff of T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel was exceptional in displaying their God-given gifts of compassion and organization. Their patience and experience was uniquely calming. At the funeral the respect that was shown for the late Margaret Rose MacLeod by the organized group of teachers and the members of the C.W.L. was very endearing to the family. The family would like to express sincere thanks to Father Duaine Devereaux, service organizers and to all who officiated at the service and also those who contributed to provide a wonderful luncheon after the funeral mass. The family wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to all those who offered Masses, prayers, acts of kindness, donations of support to many concerns in memory of the late Margaret Rose MacLeod, food from friends and sincere messages of sympathy during our bereavement. The family want to sincerely thank our family doctor, Dr. Carol Critchley, for her concern and calling and inquiring about real needs during our bereavement.
