GOLDEN-SMITH, THERESA "KEKE"
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing after a hard fought battle with cancer of Theresa (Keke) Golden-Smith on Saturday, December 12th 2015, daughter of the late Mary May Cook Golden and William H. Golden. Beloved wife of William (Smitty) Andrew Smith.
Theresa was a Medical Receptionist for Dr. Tippett for many years and a long standing member of the ladies auxiliary.
Her passions were hunting, fishing, country music (especially Merle Haggard) and her family.
She is predeceased by six sisters; Mary, Dorothy, Bessie, Ada, Margaret, Patricia and four brothers; Byng, Harry, Paul and Don.
She will be deeply missed by her sister, Violet Susan Golden-McCracken, numerous nephews and nieces and all who had the honour of knowing her.
Theresa will be resting at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation hours being held on Tuesday, December 15th 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 16th at 10:00 a.m with Rev. Jim McQuade officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations in memory of Theresa may be placed towards the Canadian Cancer Society.
