It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hazel Thomas of L’Anse au Clair announces her passing at Labrador South Health Centre in Forteau with her family at her side on November 24, 2015 at the age of 93 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Clyde (Georgina), Dennis (Phyllis) and (Gladys); grandchildren Glenda, Karen, Shawn, Cindy, Keith, Cathy, Fabian, Marvin, Angela, Kerry, Gail, Merlin, Gaye and Leon; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond, her mother Louisa Letto and her sons Eric and Samuel. A special Thank You to the Labrador South Health Centre's Long Term Care staff for the quality of care given to our mother during the last four years. Visitation took place at Anglican Church in L’Anse au Clair from where the funeral service was held on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Norman Cutler officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery in L’Anse au Clair. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, L’Anse au Loup.
