Doucet, Joseph Edward Jerome
With great sadness, the family of Joseph Edward Jerome Doucet announces his passing on Saturday, December 12th, 2015, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB.
Born in Campbellton, NB, was the son of the late Edward and Flora (Doucette) Doucet and the loving husband of the late Nora Marie (Maltais) Doucet.
Joseph is survived by sons, Allen Doucet (Jaclyn Boone) of Fredericton, NB, Steven Doucet (Heather) of Cold Lake, AB, and Percy Doucet (Kim) of Fredericton, NB; daughters, Donna Kelly (Darrell) of Woodstock, NB, Shearon Taylor (James) of St. Stephen, NB, and Peggy Crocker (Jim) of Lincoln, NB; a brother John Doucette (Rachel) of Quebec City, QC; sisters Connie LeBlanc (Nick) and Inga Anderson, both of Campbellton, NB; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; close friend Gerri Campbell of Rusagonis, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Joseph was predeceased by brothers, Ronald, Kenneth and Leo, and a sister Florine.
In keeping with Joseph’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 17th, 2015, at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lincoln, NB with Father Mark Trzop as celebrant. Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, donation made to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
