Darrell F. Currie

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darrell F. Currie on Dec. 9, 2015.
He was the son of the late Rita and Angus Currie of New Waterford.
Darrell is survived by daughter, Danielle Currie of B.C.; sisters, Debbie Currie, Halifax, Colleen Dolhanty, Millville; brother, Gordon MacDonald (Val), B.C. and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brother, Stephen MacDonald and birth mother, Sis MacDonald.
There will be a celebration of his life Wednesday, Dec. 16th beginning at 3 p.m. at the Army, Navy and Airforce Unit 217 in New Waterford.
Darrell always said that you can tell a lot about a person by how they treat an animal.
Donations can be made in his memory to your local animal shelter.
