MEYER, LEOTA
The death of Leota Meyer, wife of the late Ferdinand Meyer of Minto, NB occurred Tuesday, December 15th, 2015 at the Chalmer's Regional Hospital at the age of 90 years. Born in Chipman, NB, she was the daughter of the late Blair and Laura (Brown) Murray.
She is survived by her loving family; sons, Terry Meyer (Sara) of Moncton, NB and Dwight Meyer (Maria Scott) of Minto, NB; daughter Connie Lane (Peter) of New Maryland, NB; grandchildren, Sara-lynn Stewart (Jason), Julie Ann Pearce (Jim), Carrie Baskett (Mark), Jeremy (Nur) and Timothy (Nivanthi); great-grandsons, Jacob, Joshua, Jamie and Erin; great-granddaughter, Ava. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Phyllis Murray and Ruth Murray.
Besides her husband Ferdinand, Leota was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kimberly Ann; brothers, Clayton and George Murray; sisters, Marjorie Wilson and Lois Betts.
Leota’s family was her entire life... she gave selflessly with never a complaint, one of a kind. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In keeping with Leota’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Leota’s life will be held 11:00 Friday, December 18, 2015 from Minto Community Chapel.
