Derasp, Hélène Marie
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family at Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, of Hélène Marie (nee Richard) Derasp, recently of Le Chez-Nous in Wellington, formerly of Mont Carmel, at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Derasp. Hélène was born in Cape Egmont on April 30, 1934, to her late parents Glorice and Marianne (nee Aucoin) Richard. She is survived by her two loving sons: Michel (Rose) Edmonton, Alberta, and Yvon (Linda) Mont Carmel. Cherished grandmother to: Jason, Samatha, Natalie and Joshua. Also cherished and forever in the hearts of her brothers and sisters: Cyril (Rosella), Arsène, Adolphe (Léona), Mélina, Bertha (Gordon) Perry and also sister-in-law Jeanne, Angèle and Maria. Hélène is predeceased by her parents, son Arsène, daughter Ginette (infancy), sisters Sr. Marguerite, Isabelle (infancy), brothers Martin, Eric, Robert, brother-in-law Ronnie and sister-in-law Doria. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Saturday, Dec. 19, then to the Notre Dame du Mont Carmel Church, Mont Carmel, where funeral mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Hélène’s memory to the Alzhiemer Society or to the Mont Carmel Church would be greatly appreciated.
