LORETTE, CLARENCE "JOE"
1947-2015
Clarence "Joe" Lorette, 68, of Abbotsford, BC and formerly of Dorchester, NB, passed away peacefully at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, BC on Saturday, December 5th, after complications from surgery. Born in Dorchester, NB, he was the son of the late Stanley and Anita (Leblanc) Lorette.
Clarence graduated from Dorchester High in 1966 and continued his education in Electronic Technology. He moved to North Vancouver in 1969, where he enjoyed a career at Lonocom Electronics in N. Vancouver. After retirement in 2000, he return to school to acquire certifications in small engine repair and small appliance repair. He repaired things mostly as a hobby and to help out others and spent some time teaching both trades and volunteered his time with Red Cross.
Clarence lost his wife Carolle Anne Thomas-Lorette in 2014.
Clarence is survived by four sisters, Mae (Bob) Lorette, Fort St John, BC, Dorice Cormier (Yvon d:2009) Memramcook, Alice Landry (Leo) of Memramcook and Rita Duplessis (Jack) of Buctouche and three brothers; Gerald "Gerry" (Andrea Cormier) of Moncton, Henry (Judy Lombard) Cocagne. Tom (Susan Matchette) of Riverview.
Celebration of Life was held December 12th at the Church of Jesus Christ, Blueridge Dr, Abbotsford, BC. A donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation was requested in lieu of flowers.
