HAMPTON, Jason William
With heavy hearts, the family of Jason Hampton announces his passing, which occurred on December 16th, 2015, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Jason was born in Saint John on August 21st, 1982 to Joanne (Wilkins) and the late James Hampton. Prior to his illness, Jason worked for the City of Edmonton as part of their road crew; he was also a sports enthusiast, especially baseball.
Left to mourn is his mother, Joanne (Jim), his daughter Abigail of Edmonton, brothers Jordan, Jesse, Joshua, and Jonathan; sisters Jillian and Jayme, all of Saint John; a half-sister, Amy of North Carolina, grandparents Elmer and Phyllis Wilkins, and his best childhood friend, Doug Morton.
Along with his father, Jason was pre-deceased by his grandmother, Marlene Clark.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). Although there will be no visitation, family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service, which will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 21st, at 2:00 pm.
Interment will take place at a later date.
