Born July 12, 1928 in Montreal Quebec, died peacefully on December 14, 2015 at Christenson Village in Gibsons.She was married to Robert E.A. Davis [deceased] in December 15, 1951. She leaves behind two sons, Robert and Scott, five grandchildren, John, Bradley, Deborah, Andrea-Malia and Kalani, three great- grandchildren, Triston, Ryker and Emory-Hope. 
Dorothy's joy in life was her family, friends, pets, sewing and traveling.  She was clever, smart and her careers ranged from telephone operator, book keeper, nurse to office manager. Over her life, numerous cities in Canada and the USA were called home where she made lifelong friends. Gibsons was notably her favourite where she fit in as the merry widow with her dog Mollie. She would make you smile with witty conversation and she never let dementia get the better of her. 
Our family wants to thank Dr. Andrea Stinson, Sechelt Hospital, In-Home Care aides, Howe Sound Pharmacy, Christenson Village and Norma McClocklin for your love, care and compassion over the years.   
Burial in the family plot at Oceanview Cemetery in Burnaby on Tuesday, December 29 at Noon.
