PARKER, ALYUNA MAE (SMITH)
(1915-2015)
RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB – Alyuna Parker, 100, of Richibouctou-Village passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Saturday, December 19, 2015. Born in Campbellton, NB she was the daughter of the late David Smith and late Mabel (Coull) Smith.
Una will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. She was a woman of deep faith who loved her family above all else.
Una will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Jean Mockler (Lou) of Moncton, Carole Parker of Halifax, NS; three sons, Ken Parker (Rita) of Richibouctou-Village, Bill Parker (Nancy) of Richibucto, Don Parker (Sheila) of Toronto, ON; eight grandchildren, Sandra, Lynn, Kirby, Kelly, Scotty, Michele, Julia, Jean Paul and four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Eryn, Katie and Kaylan. She is also survived by one sister, Lida Spinks (Harold) of Saint John, NB and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul Parker; two sisters, Ruby, Robina and three brothers, Ran, Leslie and Lloyd.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will be held in Campbellton, NB at a later date.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital while she was a patient there. We would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Ron Fontaine and the nursing staff at the Stella Maris Hospital for the wonderful care of our mother. Your kindness and support touched us deeply.
