REIDPATH, WILLIAM "SCOTT"
(1965-2015)
ST. NORBERT, NB – Scott Reidpath, 50, of St. Norbert passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center on Friday, December 18, 2015. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Merrin Reidpath and the late Irene (Campbell) Reidpath.
Scott was a lifelong farmer but he was not only that, he was a woodsman, truck driver, heavy machine operator and mechanic as well as many other things. He took great pride in his life’s work and his farm but he felt in his heart that his greatest accomplishment was his family. He was also volunteer firefighter with the Beersville Fire Department.
Scott will be sadly missed by his wife, Christine (Maillet) Reidpath; one daughter, Jessica; four sons, Justin (April), Patrick, Peter, Michael all of St. Norbert and two grandchildren, Olivia and McKenna. He is also survived by one sister, Holly Acebo (Rusty) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother, Dale Reidpath of St. Norbert and many nieces and nephews.
Scott was predeceased by his mother, Irene and one brother, Daniel.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate Scott’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 4:00 pm at St. Andrew’s United Church in Rexton.
Donations to St. Andrew’s United Cemetery or Mgr. Henri-Cormier Lodge would be appreciated by the family.
