Sandra Lorraine Morgan, age 53 passed away suddenly on Friday, Dec. 18, 2015 at home.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late John and Viola (Chordis) Morgan.
Sandra’s main focus in life was her children and grandchildren. Her family was her life; she was our rock.
Sandra is survived by her partner, Vernon Shaw; three children, Danielle (Rick), Ronnie (Patricia), Scott (Robyn); two beautiful granddaughters, Abbie, Hailey' one grandson, Lucas and step-grandchildren, Anthony and Jordyn.
Sandra is also survived by her sisters, Joan, Nancy; brother, Johnny; sister-in-law, Marie; cousin, Wendy Chordis and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Sandra was predeceased by a brother, Wayne.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m., all in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay. Rev. Vernon Reid officiating. Interment in St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandra’s memory may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
