At 97 years young, passed away Dec.14, 2015 in Ottawa.
Born in Mermaid, P.E.I., the eldest son of Frederick and Margaret Dixon. Bob joined the RCAF in 1941. He met Marion Rose Vincent at a New Year’s dance and they danced for 67 years. He retired from the Force in 1969 to work for 14 years in Purchasing at Carleton University.
Surviving are his children: Robert, Dayna, Cameron and Laurie, 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his sister, Audrey (Ray) Steeves, Halifax. He was predeceased by his twin sister, Florence (George) Muttart and brother, Hayden.
