Nancy Glenn-Moore
Age 62, passed away Friday December 18th in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital from liver disease related to Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency.
Born in New Glasgow March 4th 1953 to the late Alexander & Laura (Jennex) Glenn, she attended schools there graduating from New Glasgow High.
Following graduation from Dalhousie University she went to work for Maritime Tel &Tel and retired from Bell Aliant after 33 years.
She is survived by her husband and main caregiver, Stan; a much loved daughter Laura, New Glasgow; sisters: Phyllis, New Glasgow; Sylvia (Ted), St. Albert; brother Sandy (Linda), Halifax; an uncle Earl (Clara) Jennex, Halifax; sister-in-law Sharon Baptiste, Halifax; plus many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters Peggy Jones and Alice Wilson; parents-in-law Stanton Sr. and Gladys Moore; brother-in-law Bernard.
At her request her body has been donated to Dalhousie Medical School.
A Memorial Service will be held on January 7th at 11 AM in the Trenton United Church hall.
