Alice Biegler
BIEGLER
Alice Angeline Biegler (nee Beltramini) of Moose Jaw passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on December 19, 2015, at the age of 87. Alice was born in Moose Jaw and grew up in Filmore, SK. She married Anthony Biegler, who was a member of the Canadian Military. They had many postings, taking them all across Canada, Germany, France, and Belgium, eventually retiring to Moose Jaw. Alice began working at CFB Moose Jaw in the 1970’s as a Log Control Clerk for the Snowbirds Aerobatic Squadron. She was passionate about her work and dedicated to the Snowbirds her entire career. She developed many lasting friendships with the pilots, ground crew, and their families. Alice loved to travel, and had a special place in her heart for homeless animals. She volunteered for everything from the Elks, Pioneer Lodge Auxilliary, and the Canadian Club. Above all, her family meant the world to her. Predeceased by her parents Enrico and Josephine Beltramini, husband Anthony, and sister Joyce; she will be sadly missed by her sons, Bruce (Myrna) Biegler of Waterdown, ON; and Christopher Biegler of Palm Springs, CA; grandchildren, Angela (Nicholas) McTernan and their children Sophie Alice and Rory Christopher of Brisbane, Australia; Anthony Biegler of Burlington, ON; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Alice’s life will take place at a later date. Details will be announced at that time.
