William Christopher “Chris”
65, Lockeport, passed away peacefully in Roseway Hospital on December 21, 2015. Born in Lockeport on April 11, 1950, he was a son of Katherine “Dot” (Conrad) Collishaw and the late William Collishaw. Chris was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. Chris was a stationary engineer, mechanic, hunter, fisherman and story teller. He was a proud member of the Lockeport Volunteer Fire Department and an active Legion member. He was a charter member of the Lions Club and liaison officer for the Lockeport Lioness. He was also a scout leader. Camp and the outdoors were his favourite places to be. Chris is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary; son, William (Jenny); mother, Katherine; grandchildren, Gordy and Landon. Besides his father, he was predeceased by brother, Sandy. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Lockeport where the funeral service will take place on Monday, December 28 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Cox officiating. Burial in Osborne Cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lockeport and Area First Responders.
