Carolyn 'Carly' (Warren) Neville

Carly, age, 68, passed away on Dec. 21, 2015, at the QEII in Halifax, N.S. surrounded by her loving family.
Carly was born at home on Tower Road, in Glace Bay, N.S. She was the cherished daughter of the late George James Warren and Anna Herrmann-McInnis of Tower Road, Glace Bay.
Throughout her life, Carly enjoyed good coffee and friendly conversation, long car drives to the country, step dancing, knitting, crafts, ceilidhs, fishing with her father, spending time with her family and friends, and took great pride in her Cape Breton heritage. Carly was civic-minded and had been an active member of the St. Anthony Parish Council, St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Anthony’s Women’s Auxiliary, Passchendaele Girls’ Club & was involved in all groups and sports of interest to her children. Carly had previously worked at the Metropolitan Store in Glace Bay, as a crossing guard on Brookside Street /Lake Road and in environmental services at Central School for the C.B. District School Board.
Carly is survived by her children, Charlene of Moncton, N.B.; Shawn of Petawawa, Ont. and Sherry (Brian) of Antigonish, N.S., as well as her grandchildren, Darian, Christopher and Cohen.
Carly was predeceased by four brothers, Chuck, London, Ont.; Bernie, Oshawa, Ont., Heck, Sydney Mines and Sonny, Glace Bay as well as one sister Tess, Glace Bay. Carly was also predeceased by her infant son Jimmy, her daughter-in-law Georgina and her granddaughter Gillian.
There will be no visitation or graveside service; however, a memorial service will be held at St. Anne’s Parish on July 15, 2016 at 10 a.m. Reception to follow.
