FOURNIER, IVAN JOSEPH
Ivan Joseph Fournier “Spaceman”, 62, of Moncton, passed away at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UCH on Sunday, December 27, 2015. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Edouard and Virginia (LeBlanc) Fournier.
An animal lover, enjoyed woodworking, socializing with his friends and playing poker.
Surviving are daughter, Amanda Hebert; sisters, Marie Filteau (Jean) and Rita Cormier; brother, Gary Williams; long-time friend, Laura McKay; two grandchildren, Harmony and Jonah and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, followed immediately by a Service to celebrate Ivan’s life in Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be held at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, in the spring.
In Ivan’s memory donations to the Moncton SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
