Surrounded by his family, Louis passed away peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth II, Halifax on Friday, December 25, 2015 after a short and sudden illness.
Louis is survived by his wife Virginia, the love of his life for over 60 years, his son Richard (Margie) and grandchildren Rachel and Matthew, his daughter Judith (Craig Sooley) and his grandson Tristan.
He is also survived by his sister Gladys Dirani and sisters-in-law, Heather, Georgette, Greta, and Mary.
He was predeceased by his parents Elias and Neda, and brothers Jimmy, Paul, Babe, George, Manny and Peter.
Louis will be missed by many and will be remembered as a loyal and loving husband, a hero of a father, and a tremendously loving grandfather.
He lived his life with kindness, sincerity, humility, generosity and love.
Family meant the world to him and he was extremely proud of the life he made with his wife, his children and grandchildren.
He was a trusted and respected brother and a friend to all who knew him.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation Wednesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral Thursday from St. Peter's Cathedral, Charlottetown at 1 p.m.
