With broken hearts, the Au family announces the peaceful passing of Shun Lock "Lucky" Au, age 89, on Sunday, December 27, 2015, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Fong Chung Hoi on May 31, 2004. "Poppa", as he was affectionately referred to by all the family, leaves behind to mourn his children Jim (Maureen), and their children Steven (Richelle), Jason (Erin) and Curtis (Sarah); Wahfield (Lena), and their children Patricia (Ian), Michael (Tanya), and Christina (Johnny); Garfield (Rose Mary), and their children Declan (Stephanie) and Vincent; Shieu Ping and her children Yvonne (Nathan) and Nicole: Shieu Moy, Kiang and Gar; also two great-grandchildren Beatrix and Jordan. As well, relatives and friends across Canada, the USA, Hong Kong and China to mourn his passing. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John's, on Wednesday, December 30 from 12-2 p.m. and 5-9 p.m., and Thursday, December 31 from 10-11:30 a.m., with funeral service at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 31 at 12 noon.
