It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Evoy announce his passing on December 26th, 2015 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 83 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Elizabeth; children Edna (Donny), Gerry (Marie), Mickey (Chris), Madonna (Jim), Shirley (Billy) and Beverley (Mike); nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings Edna, Hannah, Marie and Jerry; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Violet Evoy, daughter Pauline, sisters Eileen, Anne and Trudy and brothers Frank, Pat, Tom and Andrew. Funeral service occurred at Fillatre's Funeral Home on December 30th, 2015 in Happy Valley Goose Bay. Internment to take place in Newfoundland at a later date. Donations can be made in his memory to the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation.
