Passed peacefully away at his sons residence in Torbay on Saturday, March 29, 2008. Thomas J. Cadigan, aged 85 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 56 years Ellen (nee Murphy); five sons: Tommy, Ricky, Bobby, Donny (Lorraine) and Paul; four daughters: Josephine Thompson (Charlie), Carol Ann Young (Cec), Linda Cadigan (Russ Greene) and Madonna Cadigan (O.J. Lien); special niece: Brenda Baird (Dave); 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren: one sister: Mary Kinsella; one brother: Patrick (Maggie) as well as a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral home, Lemarchant Road. Visitation on Monday and Tuesday from 12 noon- 9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 10 a.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove. Interment to follow St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Outer Cove. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in his memory to the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery Fund or to a charity of one's choice.
