It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Kimberly Rice. Kim passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Dr. L. A. Miller Centre on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at the age of 49 years. Predeceased by her father: Alvin Rice and nephew: Jarred Rice. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her son: Andrew; mother: Barbara; sisters: Rhonda Rice and Diane Toope (Ernest); brother: George (Jill); nephews: Dylan and Daniel Toope, and Jesse Rice; special cousin: Kay Penny (Don), as well as extended circle of family and friends. At Kim's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. There will be no funeral service. A private family interment will take place at a later date. As expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Kim's memory to a charity of one's choice.
