Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Friday January 1, 2016 Hector Greening, aged 84 years, formerly of Port Blandford but retired in Terra Nova. Predeceased by his wife Violet, parents Edward and Ida; brothers Raymond, Jackson; sisters Ida, Pearl; son-in-law Rick. Left with fond and loving memories his children Raymond (Velva), Marion (John), Rowena; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; sisters Patsy, Pansy (Jim); brother Colin (Ann); sister-in-law Glenis; his companion Lillian and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Alton United Church, Port Blandford. Memorial service took place on Wednesday January 6, 2016 from Alton United Church, Port Blandford with interment at the United Cemetery, Port Blandford. In his memory donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
