Cocagne, NB – Roger Gallant, 80, passed away suddenly at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, January 3, 2016.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Alyre and Viola (Hébert) Gallant.
Roger will be sadly missed by his wife, Nélida; his two sons, Claude and Conrad (Claudette) both of Cocagne; his two daughters, Liette Gallant (Rhéal) and Carole Gallant (Tim) both of Cocagne; his six brothers, Alonzo (Elda), Normand (Annette), Léonard (Jeanne), Clarence (Gemma), Donald (Géraldine) all of Grande-Digue and Bernard (Lucille) of Shediac River; his three sisters, Lucienne Leger (Normand), Lucia Hébert (Normand) both of Grande-Digue and Denise Gallant (Gérald) of La Pocatière, QC; his four grandchildren, Danielle (Jacques), Amy, Julien and Marcel; his great-granddaughter, Lexa; also by several aunts uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, January 6, from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Funeral service will be held at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne Roman Catholic Church, on Wednesday, January 6, at 7 pm. A reception will follow at the Golden Age Club.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
