The family of the late Peggy Howell wish to express our sincere gratitude to family and friends for their expressions of sympathy, cards, flowers, food and donations. Your kindness was very much appreciated. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Murphy, Dr. D’Intino, Dr. MacDonald and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Regional Hospital. Your efforts during the final weeks of Mom’s life will be forever etched in the hearts of her children. Thanks are also extended to the staff of 4C who took care of Mom for four months. We would be remiss if we did not mention how proud we were of the participation of the grandchildren in all parts of the funeral service. To Bill Laurie and the staff of the Pier Funeral Home, we express our thanks for your compassion and support during our time of sorrow. Sincere thanks are extended to the Holy Redeemer CWL for providing the altar servers, Eucharistic ministers and also provided the lunch following the funeral and to the Holy Redeemer Choir for their lovely music. Finally, a sincere thank you to Fr. Duaine Devereaux for his visits to Mom in the hospital and for concelebrating the funeral service, and Fr. Paul Murphy for a beautiful eulogy.
