Passed away unexpectedly on January 3, 2016 Joan Elizabeth Breen, age 81. Predeceased by her husband Alfred (2004) and son Bobby (1990). She leaves to mourn her loving sons John (Judy), Bill (Marilyn), Gary, A.J., and only daughter Deb. Also left to mourn are her seven grandchildren, Robyn and Matthew, Bobbi-Lynn and Blair, Brittany, Julian and Gabriel. Joan was delighted to have welcomed her first great-grandchild, Annika, last month. She is also survived by sisters Daisy Murphy (Robert), Shirley Sauter, Paula "Cussie" Rodden, and Sandra Locke (Gerry). Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may visit the family at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel.
