McKinley, Joan F.
Joan F. McKinley, 73, of Riverview, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, January 4, 2016. Born in Pine Glen, she was the daughter of the late Alma (Curtis) and Donald Crossman. Joan was a former Assistant Manager at Reitman’s Ltd., with 14 years’ service. A member of Lower Coverdale Baptist Church, she enjoyed music, dancing, knitting and her grandchildren.
Joan will be sadly missed by her husband of 56 years, Willis McKinley of Riverview; daughters, Kelly McKinley of Riverview and Shawnda Farquhar (Graeme) of Upper Coverdale; son, Craig (Lori) of Salisbury; grandchildren, Kyle, Logan, Alex, Melissa, Eric, Ricky, Jamie and Samantha; sister, Brenda Tingley (Everett) of Turtle Creek; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Donna-Lynn; brother, Donald Crossman and grandson, Mitchell.
A Service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Ken Rains officiating. Refreshments following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment will be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
