STEPHEN, Harold Arthur
The passing of Harold Stephen, a gifted artist and gentle soul, occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on January 5th, 2016.
Harold was born in Saint John on October 19, 1960; a son of Irene (Quinn) and the late John Laba Stephen Sr. Harold worked at UNB – Saint John for 15 years, in the Maintenance Department, and had a passion for tools, and woodworking.
Left to mourn are his sisters; Rebecca Stephen, Linda Legere-Boudreau (Ludger) and their children: Jordan and Jillian, Wendy Stephen-Harnden (Jim) and their children: Douglas and Taylor, brothers Barry Stephen, Daniel Stephen and his children: Darrell, Daniel and Erin, John Stephen Jr (Sharon) and their children: Jessica, Jason, Emily, and Robert, and a large extended family; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many cherished friends.
In addition to his father John, Harold was pre-deceased by his brother Timothy John, and a niece, Krystal.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424), with visiting on Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 3:30 pm. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
