Tooker, Fred Harold, age 95, of Brookside, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre Truro. Born in Outram, Annapolis County, he was a son of the late Ralph Moody and Elma (Stevenson) Tooker. He was a carpenter for most of his life and had a great passion for gardening. Fred was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Rose Mary Tooker, Upper Brookside; grandsons, John Frederick Tooker, Upper Brookside, Timothy James (Trish) Tooker, Bible Hill; great-grandchildren, Emily, Kristina, Katelyn; He was predeceased by his wife the former Wilma Enola (Smith) Tooker in December 23, 2015; son, Ralph Tooker; brothers, Clarence, Moody, William, Ralph, Ludlow, Charles, Roger; sisters, Nellie, Dora, Edna. No visitation or funeral service by request. Spring interment for Fred and Wilma will be held at a later date in the Crossroads Cemetery in Valley.
