It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Caroline Walsh (nee Graham) of Aquaforte, aged 72, on Wednesday, January 6th, 2016. Her loving family by her side, at the Palliative Care Unit of the L. A. Miller Centre, she was released from her courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents: Vivian and Isabelle Graham. Leaving to mourn: her loving and devoted husband: Albert of 48 years; daughters: Kathy (Glenn Jackman); Brenda (Rick Moritz); son: Bill (Erin); seven grandchildren: Kayla, Adam, Braden, Madison, Connor, Ava, Claire. Also left to mourn: her sisters: Edna (Morris deceased); Viola (Vince); Madeline (Dolly deceased) and her brother, Don (Elizabeth); as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse. Visitation on Saturday, January 9 and Sunday, January 10 from 2-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, January 11 at 10 a.m., at Holy Trinity Church, Ferryland. Interment at Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Aquaforte. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Shirley's memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, or a charity of one's choice.
