PALMER, RICHARD
Richard Meadows Palmer, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, following a brief illness. Born in Saint John, on August 16, 1944 he was the son of the late Walter Baker and Edith Roberta (Meadows) Palmer.
Rick owned and operated Rick’s Video and Movie Gallery in Quispamsis for many years. He enjoyed golfing, curling, hockey, horses, movies, listening to gospel and country music. He will be sadly missed.
He is survived by his daughters Wendy Lynn Wilson (Wade) of Niagara Falls, ON and Kerry Lee Crouse (Jason) of Saint John; cherished grandchildren Madison, Peter and Michael; sister Patricia Heather Branch (Chris) of Kingston Peninsula; nephews Colin and Matthew. He will be sadly missed and remembered by his best friend Shawn Eatman and his family of Saint John; and Wade Hiltz of St. Stephen.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 2 p.m.
