Edward Jamieson

Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park, on January 8th, 2016, Edward Jamieson of Mt. Pearl. Predeceased by his parents Alexander and Violet Jamieson, sister Florence, and brother Andrew. Leaving to mourn his wife Linda and his son Kirk (Jennifer), brother Alex (Dianna), sister Margaret Rose Loder, and his much cherished grandchildren Noah and Sarah. He will be lovingly remembered by his many extended family members and a wide circle of friends. We wish to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Stephanelli for his care during the past seven years. Also, thank you to Dr. Erin Powell and the staff at the Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic. Our thanks and appreciation are extended to the staff at Chancellor Park for caring for Ed during his brief stay. Cremation has taken place and the family will be receiving guests at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday, January 11 from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, January 12 from 9 a.m. - 12 noon, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 13 at 11:00 a.m. with interment at the Anglican Cemetery on Kenmount Road. No flowers by request, but donations in his memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House. Ed, known to many as "The Candy Man", touched many lives with his generous and friendly personality. He found more pleasure in giving, rather than in receiving. Ed will be sadly missed, but lovingly remembered.
