ERVIN, KEVIN ANDREW
Kevin Andrew Ervin, 62, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on January 11, 2016, following a difficult year of declining health. Born in Halifax, NS on September 3, 1953, he was the son of the late Fraser and Betty Ervin. The family moved to Moncton in 1956, so this city was his true home.
Following high school, Kevin worked for many years for Wyeth Pharmaceutical before transferring to their Main Depot in St. Laurent, QC. He retired in 2011 and returned to Moncton. In his spare time, Kevin enjoyed playing softball, pool and particularly golf with all his buddies.
Kevin was a gentle soul with a very kind heart. He had an exceptional ability to make friends wherever he went and to nurture each and every friendship throughout his life. He will be sadly missed, and lovingly remembered, not only by his sister Alexis, but by his special “next door” cousins, Anne Johnson, Lynne Duffy and Don Ervin, along with their families. Many other close cousins in Nova Scotia, Ontario and in the United States, along with his huge circle of friends, will cherish the memory of this kind and thoughtful man.

A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 1:00 pm with The Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be directed to Hospice Greater Moncton or a charity of the donor’s choice.
