HORSMAN, EDITH F.
Edith F. Horsman, 83, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, January 11, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Born in Hillsborough, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hazel (Steeves) Garland.
Edith was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Edith will be sadly missed by her daughters, Debbie Ritchie of Moncton, Donna Drake (Derek) of Fredericton and Carol Burgess (Butch) of Guelph, ON; sons, John Horsman (Susan) of Barrie, ON, Ricky Horsman (Brenda) of Moncton and Michael Horsman, of Guelph, ON; grandchildren, Justin, Mitchell, Vincent, Brent, Laura and Stephanie; several great-grandchildren and several cousins. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Edward, George and Malcolm and sisters, Norma and Helen.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate Edith’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 10:00 am, with Rev. Gordon MacLeod officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be held in Hopewell Hill Cemetery in the spring.
