Funeral Thank You
Barry D. Gillis
The family of the late Barry Gillis, want to thank everyone who visited the Funeral home, sent flowers , donations, cards, food and offered love and support to us. A special thanks to all the doctors and nurses of the Halifax Infirmary, the V.G. and the Cape Breton Regional. Thanks to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the C.B. Regional for your care and support, you are all angels of mercy and will never be forgotten. The Funeral was held at Chants Funeral Home with Rev. Chant officiating at a beautiful service. Three of Barry’s favorite songs were sung by Arron Lewis, a reading was done by his Aunt Hazel, a poem was written and read by his niece Hannah Rudderham and the eulogy was done by his sister Debbie Rudderham, after which everyone got to know Barry a little better. A lovely lunch was catered, by chants. Thanks to the Chants staff for making Barry’s Funeral a wonderful tribute to him. Cremation has taken place and burial will be on June 21st at Forest Haven.
